slow flow yoga

6 - 7 pm

A much slower, simpler flow class. Designed to open your body, release tension and explore movement throughout your whole system. Expect creative, flowing movements to promote greater ease and awareness. Both an immersive and relaxing experience set to an uplifting playlist. Incorporates the magic yoga triad of breath work, focus & flexibility, creating a balance between a calm mind + a mobile body.
Not suitable for injuries.

Are you working with an injury or condition that limits your mobility or strength? This chair based class is the perfect gentle practice for everyone: those who are desk bound, travelling a lot, or for whom getting up and down from the floor is not convenient.
Perfect for all levels.

  • Slow flow yoga is a gentle and meditative style of yoga that emphasises controlled movements, steady breathing, and mindfulness. In slow flow yoga classes, practitioners move through poses at a slower pace compared to other yoga styles like vinyasa or power yoga. Each movement is coordinated with the breath, and poses are typically held for longer periods of time to encourage deep stretching and relaxation.

    The slow pace of this practice allows practitioners to focus on alignment, proper breathing techniques, and the sensations within their bodies. It also provides an opportunity for introspection and mindfulness as practitioners move mindfully through each pose.

  • Slow and gentle paced. Yin yoga offers floor based poses held for a few minutes at a time. Yin aims to enhance circulation, increase joint mobilisation, clear energetic blockages, + heal the body. This style of practice allows a deeper level of stretching and opening. The focus on holding poses targets the connective tissues of the body; ligaments, tendons and fascia. Yin yoga draws from a Traditional Chinese Medicine and Eastern Philosophy framework to work on the energetic body as well as physical

Together, we'll explore mobilising joints, building strength, and finding balance—whether seated, standing, or with chair support.
